Everything you need to know about WiMAX

I am working on a WiMAX simulator involving MIMO options.

In the SISO case, we assume the channel is constant over 1 OFDM symbol.

However, for Alamouti, we need to assume the channel is constant over 2 OFDM symbols, don't we?

Are these assumptions sane, then? Or is there any other point I am missing?

yes, based on alamouti paper channel is assume constant over 2 OFDM Symbols.
But, in reality, the channel is not constant right?

Perhaps the next question (at least my question) is when signal in the channel is different (not constant) over 2 OFDM Symbols, so which is the best to use in the STC decoding process? We assume the channel constant or not over that 2 OFDM symbols.
Actually, I already think and want to test it in my model. Because of the long of processing time in channel decoding, I still don't have time to do it.

So if you know it, please kindly share it to me.
