I am wondering about this group discussion. Is the main purpose of this group the costs or the technical issues?

Andrew,

Lets talk off line about your application and goals, then we can refine some numbers for you.

Has anyone checked out the 3.65 equipement? I checked out Redline Communication's "RedMax" and was not impressed with each base station's bandwidth capability. Something like 11Mbs if I recall correctly. Just what are you suppose to do with that? Home networking?

I am not sure about Alvarion's equipment. Has it been released yet? Getting them to communicate is like talking to a wall.

Any other companies released anything yet? I had planned on doing something this year, but have been disappointed with the WiMax rollouts this year.
