there can be many ways, and there is not hard rule to limit you, except for the fact that around 4km (beyond 2nd tier) distance before repitition of a preamble in same channal for 3.5 GHz.
wht u can possibly do is to make hexagons and assign preambles in that pattern. That way u can repeat complete hexagons after defining 7 basic sets.

Dear All,
I'm little confuse Let take an example.
we have an area i.e.Delhi and there are 2,000 sites of wimax and now how can we plan AFP for all sites.
assume link budget is default. propagation model and antenna file also as a default parameters then how can we plan preamble.
Basically I want to know the process wt steps we have to take in Frequency planning .

test and measurement for WiMAX is critical especially with MIMO functionality and Fading. Rohde & Schwarz provides solutions. And we are interested to hear your requirements.

denial of service is rejected when base station is full and no available IP address in the modem. have you ever try to increase the height of the CPE or check on the BS manager software regarding about the UL/DL signal levels? is there any obstruction on the LOS? check also the network modem it must be 10/100 fast ethernet or gigabit ethernet.

I was able to bring link by realigning it to another base station.

Currently am researching on Denial Of service on 802.16,specifically on the mac layer.

remove the proxy server in the LAN settings which causing the LAN card confuse in selecting IP address and was not be able to open any web page also, remove all the IP's and DNS server address in the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). remember that there is different IP from the CPE.
