About Me

Dave is the founder and principal of Global-i, Inc., a consulting, contracting and technology solutions provider for primarily Converged Communications and IT clients. Dave has over 15 years of Converged Communications/IT industry experience ranging from critical management and consulting roles in Global/National Communications Service Providers and Software/Hardware OEMs, to Venture-backed Technology companies. He manages all operations for Global-i and is responsible for formulating and executing strategic and tactical plans for the company. Dave is also the lead business and technical consultant representing Global-i. Prior to founding Global-i; Dave held Product, Program, Project, Technology, Marketing, Strategy and Business Development Management positions at a number of Global and National Communications Service providers (Sprint-Nextel, Nextel, XO, T-Mobile USA, AOL-Time Warner Cable, BT Americas, Primus and Ameritech) and OEMs (NEC, Fonality, Glenayre-IP Unity, Executone). He has also worked with a host of partners dominant in the Converged Communications/Wireless/IT/Software/Hardware industry, including Cisco, Microsoft, Motorola, Intel, Nortel, Avaya, Comverse, Logica CMG, Ericsson and HP. Dave has also worked in several next-generation areas in the last decade: 3G/4G Wireless Networks/Applications, IMS/Converged Communications and Messaging, Managed and Hosted IP-based Telephony (VoIP and IP-PBXs) and Data Services (MPLS), Smart Mobile Devices and Mobile Platforms, Metro Area Networks, SAAS, SOA, and a host of applications ranging from Voice Recognition to Real-time Video Telephony to Location-Based Services. Dave has an M.B.A. with a focus in Marketing and IT from University of Toledo in Ohio and a second Masters with a focus in Urban Studies, Public Administration and Information Systems from University of Akron in Ohio, U.S.A. Dave has a Bachelor’s in Economics and Business from Delhi University in India.
