Current Position: I am in the middle of starting a new company to brin both wired broadband and wireless broadband to East Tennessee's beautiful city of Knoxville, TN and beyond.

Why are you interested in WiMAX?: As I mentioned, I am interested in proliferation of instant access to the Internet. I am also very heavily involved in Free, Libre and Open Source Software development and its practicle use iwithn the Enterprise and the home.

I've only heard about a few people around here with enouth wherewithall to possibly set up WiMax. One is a programer/repair guy between Etowah an Riceville. Another in the same area has a T1 who is contracted to do customer service (outsourced).

The 3rd might be who you are referring to. I heard of him from a computer store in Athens. He has T1's and was doing at least WiFi's to his neighbors out towards Telico Plains.
