Wimax,LTE,or?....Revised

Would Lte even be any more than a dream If it wasn't for the evolution of Wimax ? Intel says at the core they are much the same. I think these technologies are in safe hands. If there is a day where the two merge,It was Wimax that opened the door, And company's leading the way like Nextwave, and Intel. That will merge the two Wifi got us here. Wimax is the next step, and LTE is tomorrow. There will never be a technology that trumps wireless broadband. It just gets better from here. Kobe director A… Continue

Disruptive to paid programing

I've blogged a piece called consumers will cut the wires on wimax360 where I wrote about how consumers could save money on services such as sat radio, as well as other services. Look I'm not trying to hurt business, my honesty is brutal, and Sirius, XM you guys offer a awesome service. However technology is in hyper drive right now. I've been seeing Internet content moving towards mobility for sometime now being made ready for wireless,or portability.I don't think you have to worry about this tom… Continue

Consumers will cut the wires

Lets say consumers spend money on cable about 50.00 mo,mobile phone 50.00 mo,broadband 40.00 mo security monitoring 25.00 mo sat radio 15.00 mo, Now lets add mobility with these features cant put a price on that. That's 180.00 mo. Now say you can offer all these serices for 50.00 mo. That saves the average consumer 130.00 mo. This technology will sell itself . I dont think the sprint strategy of 100.00 a mo was the best marketing tool at there disposal. unless they are trying to finance there xo… Continue

I think the big players in the telecom ind. are at a cross roads, with do you build new wireless infrastructure outside the old .Or do you help drive technology to a place where devices crossover from existing service to wimax. I would think those products are ready and waiting for certification at some level. the wimax forum, or FCC. I also think that if a device was released tomorrow. that crossed over. Sprint would have a press release soon after. Kobe Wadsworth

I personally think the bg news this week was DOD may be gearing towards a wimax future.I think this news is bigger than any sprint merger story. The military will be driving this technology so hard it will have to be re designed. no really. Nice choice dod this is the cutting edge of communication's with the world in mind. A Kobe moment.

.Wireless broadband, endless possibility's What I see by 2011 2012 Tv and radio, movie studio's security co's ,telcos. As we move ever so closer to mobilizing our lives, world wide. All of those company's will have to adjust to the changing of a mobile society. Quality content has arrived and wireless broadband as a delivery system is the match. That will change our viewing listening and entertainment pleasures to a on demand lifestyle with more content than you could ever ask for, Advertising dollars follows the leader. We can just learn to monitor our own security systems from our cell or voip phones saves consumers every month. this is just some of the disruptive nature of this technology. Feel free to leave a comment.I will have more to say about these topics.thanks 360 friends Kobe Wadsworth
